Data Deletion Summary
We provide two ways to delete your data: **Manual Deletion** via Profile Settings (Instant) or **Purge Request** via email (72-hour processing). A hard delete removes your name, email, and geographic identifiers. Created petitions stay but will be attributed to [DELETED USER].
Your digital voice belongs to you. We provide simple, absolute controls to revoke your data from our servers at any time.
Manual Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account directly through your Profile Settings. This action will immediately remove your profile details, contact info, and signature history.
Request Data Purge
If you cannot access your account, you can send a formal data purge request. Our compliance team will manually verify and remove your records within 72 hours.

When you request a deletion, we perform a "hard delete" on all user-identifiable tables. This includes your name, email, avatar, and geographic identifiers.
Important Note
Petitions you have **created** will enter an "Orphaned" state to protect the signatures of other supporters, or be removed entirely if they have 0 signatures. Your authorship details will be replaced with [DELETED USER].
