Raise Your Voice Nepal ("the Platform") is a civic engagement tool provided to citizens of Nepal. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and administrative personnel. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with notice provided for significant changes.

2. User Eligibility & Ethics

Core Requirements

  • You must be a real individual acting in good faith.
  • Only one account per person is permitted.
  • Impersonation of officials or others is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Conduct

  • - Fabricating reports or evidence.
  • - Using automated scripts for signatures.
  • - Harassment or doxxing of representatives.
  • - Promoting illegal activities or violence.

3. Content Moderation

All content uploaded to Raise Your Voice Nepal—including petitions, issue reports, and comments—is subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our community standards or the Electronic Transactions Act of Nepal.

Note: While we moderate for safety, the Platform does not endorse user-generated content. Accountability for published claims rests solely with the author.

4. Data Usage & Privacy

Your usage of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process your information to verify your identity and facilitate civic interaction.

By signing a petition, you acknowledge that your name (if public) and constituency may be shared with the relevant government representative as part of the formal grievance procedure.
